Product Details:-
1. PTFE Reactor Construction
The main reactor body is manufactured from PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene).
PTFE provides an electrically insulating and chemically resistant construction suitable for laboratory electrochemical experiments with a wide range of aqueous electrolytes.
2. 40 mL Electrolyte Capacity
The reactor provides a 40 mL electrolyte volume, making it suitable for laboratory-scale water-splitting experiments and electrocatalyst screening.
The relatively compact electrolyte volume can be useful when working with research electrolytes, catalyst samples, or experiments where controlled electrolyte quantity is desirable.
3. Three-Electrode Configuration
The reactor is designed for a conventional three-electrode measurement system:
Working Electrode (WE)
The electrode or catalyst being investigated.
Counter Electrode (CE)
Completes the electrochemical circuit and supports the complementary reaction.
Reference Electrode (RE)
Provides a stable reference potential for controlled working-electrode measurements.
This configuration is commonly used for HER and OER electrocatalyst evaluation
4. Water-Splitting Research
The reactor is designed primarily for electrochemical water-splitting studies, including:
Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER)
Evaluation of electrocatalysts and electrode materials for hydrogen evolution.
Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER)
Evaluation of oxygen-evolution catalysts and electrode materials.
Water Electrolysis
Laboratory investigation of electrochemical water-splitting reactions.
Electrocatalyst Screening
Comparison of different catalyst compositions, electrode structures and material systems.
